Pastor Janet Mortinsen

Hi my name is Janet Mortinsen and I serve as the Director of Pastoral Care. I am the daughter of a Lutheran pastor, was born in northern Minnesota and raised in southern Wisconsin. I received my BS in Nursing degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. I worked on a medical/surgical unit in Minnesota and a cardiac unit here in Denver. I joined the staff at Bethany as a Faith Community Nurse in April of 2011 and feel blessed to serve in this capacity.

My husband, Jim, and I have lived in the Denver area since 1992. We have three adult children: a son in Minneapolis, a son in Denver and a daughter attending UNC, Greeley. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, spinning, golf, skiing, hiking and reading.
